If you’re unfamiliar with who Neon Gold are by now then you should consider this one of many wake-up calls. Several releases after their entrance into the recording industry with Passion Pit’s debut, we have us Ellie Goulding’s new EP Under The Sheets, with some proper remixes by Pariah, Baby Monster and Jakwob (yay!) An all around beautiful track that follows up her debut single, “Starry Eyed,” (best song of the year? idk)- here’s what I have to share with you so far.

I’ve been sent this Bloody Beetroots remix of the Groove Armada track “I Won’t Kneel” for you guys to listen to. It’s certainly more ambient than most Beetroot tracks that I’ve heard before, but features the same glitchy token production elements that I’ve become so comfortable with in their previous works.

I’m guessing this track didn’t make the cut for the I Wont Kneel EP, that features official remixes by Joe & Will Ask? and Mouj & No Brainer. I can’t see why though. Oh, and as always.. I love the Blood Beetroots.

Another throwback techno jam that has been on repeat is this Marcus Worgull song. A beautifully deep and clubby track, the original is accompanied by the vocals of Mr. White. But somehow, it’s the instrumental version that speaks more loudly to me. So good.

Two short months after Amanda Blank (of Spank Rock) released her own full-length, I Love You, she’s coming out with a remix EP of the track “Shame On Me.” I love this girl- and not just because Yuksek tears apart her tracks to my liking on a regular basis now. No, it’s because of her gig two halloweens ago in Chicago. She killed it. Easily one of the best female stage presence I’ve seen, she must have been crowd-surfing half the show. I don’t think I’ve witnessed Subterranean rock like that since.

Here’s a semi-older one by 2Raumwohnung that I’ve been revisiting a lot that I thought I’d share with you. If you’ve only heard the Solomun remix, I’d suggest you take a listen to this Paul Kalkbrenner work (it’s fire,) and then go pick up the other versions by Good Groove & Yapacc and Seith & Bohmbach. One of the more illustrious vocal dance pieces this year, I’d also recommend taking a look at the lyrical translations.

As far as 2Raum’s new stuff takes you, I’d suggest picking up their latest EP, Der Letzte Abend Auf Der Welt, featuring remixes by Thomas Schumacher and Hoover, released about six weeks ago. Pretty much anything Schumacher has been touching lately is off the hook, this time is no different.

DJ Zinc came through today with some tracks off of his latest Crack House EP for you to check out. A longtime favorite in the UK, Zinc’s latest release features all the grime, breaks, and jungle influence of his earlier drum & bass years with a newfound addition of a four-to-the-floor stomp.

The EP features several nice pieces, but my favorite of the bunch are surefire floor-favorite  ‘Blunt Edge,’ which holds a special place in my heart, along with the rework of a Zinc classic into ‘128 Trek’ and the collab with Benga and Sweetie Irie.

There’s a new single coming out this November from The Shoes featuring Primary1 titled “People Movin.” Along with the Siriusmo track posted below, there will be other remixes by the likes of Monsieur Monsieur, Tom Deluxx & Toma. Really glad to see these guys mobilizing, I’ve loved the French duo’s work for a hot minute now.
