Umph

Zombie Nation came out with a short remix album recently on Turbo Recordings of tracks taken from Zombilicious, that dropped earlier in the year. The release features remixes by Proxy, Arvene & Misk, Milano, Shadow Dancer and Hey Today!. Like the Arveene & Misk remix? You might want to check out Hells Bells, their original that dropped earlier this month.

Autokratz have been pumping out releases lately, too. You can pick up the Always More EP, out on Kitsune with the Yuksek remix that has circulated around a bit, along with ones by Shadow Dancer (very busy lately), His Majesty Andre and Goshi Goshi! Glad to see Goshi Goshi pop up again on the radar. I loved “Lock Shot,” such a funky little jam. For one last recommendation, go check out Autokratz’ “Quicksand” remix that most have overlooked recently..

Ben Watt released a “Guinea Pig” remix album on Buzzin’ Fly Records, his own label,  featuring more loveliness from DJ Koze- which is always something to celebrate over in these parts- also a curiously coupled remix featuring M.A.N.D.Y. and a lesser-known lad named Smallboy. The track is really nice, and if I were you I’d snag the release while you got your mind on it.

And while we’re all waiting patiently for Tom Neville & Serge Santiago to yield their latest work under the guise of Retro/Grade, here’s a nice little Neville remix of the amazing track by The Energies titled “Born Again Runner.” You might remember the wonderful work that Lifelike & Fred Falke did for it from earlier posts of mine..
