Yeah

Been a little bit since I’ve been able to sit down and write here. Between how beautiful it is outside and how horrible it is working during the Summer, I’ve found some solace drifting between the two listening to the following songs. It would help if my internet was reliable, too. BTW- I updated the concert listings- lots of good stuff hapn’n this month.

It’s also been a while since Rex The Dog has graced my stereo, this time taking on the instant-classic hit by Fever Ray, “Triangle Walks.” On the self-titled release of Fever Ray’s there are other remixes by the likes of Tiga, Allez Allez and Spektre, among others..

Fever Ray – Triangle Walks (Rex The Dog Remix)

Stimming has been heating up the past few months. Releasing Reflections on Diynamics in April, the following track was thereafter remixed by Ripperton and Sascha Funke. Solid cocktail of minimal techno right there

Stimming – The Kiss (Sascha Funke Remix)

WhoMadeWho is stirring up all kinds of trouble with their latest track, “Keep Me In My Plane.” I would have been happy enough with simply the original single release- I feel like a spoiled child now receiving another! Enter Modernaire, The KDMS and the ever-amazing DJ Koze back for a round-two.

Who Made Who – Keep Me In My Plane (Modernaire Remix)

And bringing it back for a minute- some of you might be familiar with the Strangelets remix of Sebastian Tellier’s cemented anthem, “Kilometer” & “Sexual Sportswear”, blogged and released recently, but have you heard this one? Great Blitz Gramsci remix.

Strangelets – Riot On Planet 10 (Blitz Gramsci Remix)

Mmmm Mila Kunis…I’d hit it. I’d probably even pay. No, no I wouldn’t. (I would)
