Sometimes I wish I could just post up every Boards of Canada album ever created. But I’m afraid Warped Records would castrate me, so I don’t. On another note, I was reading their comments on their world guestbook, indicating who’s visited their site from where, and some girl in a nurses outfit said “your music makes me want to put a gun in my mouth- in a good way.” Lol. Check out this track if you have a chance..

It’s been a little bit since dropped, but Swedish producer and founder of Pickadoll Records, John Dahlback’s “Pyramid” is such a well done piece that I must revisit it. Aside from having universal appreciation throughout the dance music world, in October this year, Dahlback was on BBC’s Radio One with Pete Tong, and even more recently he announced a remix competition that you ended today. Click here for details. There will be four winners decided by genre that will be announced on December 22nd. I’m interested in seeing the results.. Big thanks to The Workout for the track!

Been a while since I posted any Villains. Well, the west coast duo have been making some exciting things happen. They got together with Edison Gem and did a remix of their track “Things Change” that was featured on their latest EP. They were recently featured on Pitchfork. And a little while back they did a nasty remix of Datarock’s “Computer Camp Love” that I was finally greenlighted to post.

Since Resonator put me on to Goshi Goshi, I have been infatuated with their orignal, “The Lock Stock”. A recent sign to The Young Punx’ label, Mofo Hifi. If this song is any indication of what there is to come, I have a feeling we will be hearing a lot about ‘em. The track is insane.

Though they refer to their own music as ’slaughterhouse’, anyone saying that Punk is dead needs some Metal on Metal blasted into their eardrums pronto. The Lithuanian trio are back with another remix that will rip out your spine and feed it to you, this time of a Polarkreis 18 track “Alein Alein”. These guys make angry, sick, twisted music. And I love it. Peep the latest rework and check out their new music video for “No Front Teeth” as well. And if you have another minute, I dug up an interview with the three of them on Lithuanian television that you might want to check out.

Metal On Metal – No Front Teech (Less Metal Edit)

Mike Silver, or as you might better know him, CFCF, has put out some great work recently. What originally garnered my attention was his Presets remix of “Talk Like That”, a disco-oriented track that toned the semi-abrasive nature of The Presets into a wonderfully smooth and thoughtful track. Well, aside from putting out some music on the blogs, he has a 7″ coming out of “You Hear Colors”/”Invitation to Love” that you can preorder right now. It’s to be released on Acephale, and you can preview the tracks on CFCF’s Myspace page if these remixes below don’t sway you (though they should).

Femme – Bathtub Clash (CFCF Remix)

Genghis Tron – Recursion (CFCF Remix)

The Presets – Talk Like That (CFCF Remix)

Man, and while I’m posting the CFCF remix of The Presets, I can’t skip passed this Jence version without throwing it up there. Stil waiting for some new Digitalism tracks. Very eagerly.
