Calling In Sick – Cali Games

Friday I’ll meet up with Beats. Yeah, he’s going too! That night I want to be at the show around 9PM for 2ManyDJs. I’ve only seen the Soulwax Nite Versions act of theirs, so I’m pretty stoked to see it back down to the basics. Simian Mobile Disco will be on at 10:40 after that and judging by the small and large gigs at Empty Bottle and Coachella ‘08, I’m expecting the world here. Soulwax right after that. It’d take the end of the world to keep me from seeing that set. Then over to Justice. Now I’ve seen Justice 4 or 5 times in the last year, and though they’re awesome, no doubt, I’ve only been able to see the Crookers once and that was pretty damn cool, so halfway through the set I’ll make my way over to that stage for some fidget.

Boys Noize will be stomping the life out of the Trick or Treat stage right after that, so I’ll be over there. And then I’ll head back to the Expo stage for Deadmau5 to close it all down. Someone told me he’d have a pumpkin head this time around. Just thought I’d share that with you. That’s the plan, and that’s probably the best 5 hours of live music that I can imagine ever having the chance to see in consecutive order. Have a ticket? Sweet! See ya there. Waited too long?
