Eeek! Deadmau5 is dropping through this weekend for a short night on a long trip throughout America, into Canada, on the way to Europe, back through the US for a minute and then all the way down to South America. He’s known for memorable shows, featuring a Lemur soundsystem, a gigantic round mousehead, and personalizing moments that are all-too his own. Last I saw him, he opened with the Charlie & Candy Mountain video from youtube. Yeah.
The House of Blues in Chicago is one of fifty spots that he’ll be playing, all the while showcasing gems from his first studio recorded album, “Random Album Title”, set to be officially hitting stores on Nov. 4th. I’m buying a ticket- you should too!
The Crystal Method – Cherry Twist (Deadmau5 Remix)
Marco Demark & Casey Barnes – Tiny Dancer (Deadmau5 Dub Mix)
Calvin Harris – Merrymaking At My Place (Deadmau5 Remix)
Below are the September dates for those of you in the US. Further dates scheduled for England and South America and so on can be found on Deadmau5′ myspace page.

When I saw him at Ultra fest in Miami this year, he ran video (presumably from his laptop) and faked a bluescreen, followed by “LOLlerskates, just kidding”

Comment by Bec September 14, 2008 @ 2:40 amDanger show was alright. Video got a little too repetitive and tracks played a little longer than they probably should have. Pretty damn epic too.
Don’t think I’m a huge hater, I love his production, just had high expectations.
p.s. I am not DMCA kyle and I am glad you are back as well.

Comment by nicko September 16, 2008 @ 4:48 pmI love his music, I hate the guy. He’s a douche-and-a-half. I’m a photographer for pretty much every event organizer in Reno,NV and when he came to town I saw him standing behind the stage by himself just chillin, his timeslot was not for another 2 hours. So I decided I’d try and talk with him. I introduced myself…correction, started to introduce myself and he just kinda shooed me off…
Douchey douche.
The man knows how to make some killer tracks though…
Just my $0.02
