Chicago!!!! Are you ready for a party this Saturday? I am effing ecstatic! Dark Wave Disco brings us Felix Cartel, coming off of his tour with the Bloody Beetroots and LA Riots, on Saturday, May 17th. Along for the ride comes Brad Owen and a DJ set by Figo, celebrating his recent record release. As always, beats will also be provided by Trancid, Mark Gertz and Greg Corner, the trifecta that always rocks Chicago proper.
The party is at Sonotheque (where else?) and is hosted by Paul In Chicago and CT Couture with nice drink prices that keep your Sunday useless and your wallet happy. Also, this is another dope Scion event, so be sure to RSVP here. And for a few little samples of the electric insanity that is going to be brought down on all of us check out the tunes below. Big thanks to Local Hero and Trash Menagerie for the nasty Mr. Miyagi track, those guys are always on their “A” game over there. “You gotta see it to believe it, baby!”

Comment by lovestar May 18, 2008 @ 12:51 pmsaw felix there for the 2nd time in a month (bloody beetroots show at smartbar), both times equally impressive. he lays down a lot of lesser known beats, but lays them down well. a lot of glitching which i love, especially at a venue like sonotheque.
