Mannnn.. I’m on a huge Cut Copy kick right now. Finishing up their US tour on the east coast while promoting their new album “In Ghost Colours”, I’m sure that there are a lot of new fans across the country right now. “Lights & Music” and “Hearts on Fire” are easily the most popular tracks off the release, but one that you might have overlooked has been getting massive play over here at redthreat the last few days: “Nobody Lost, Nobody Found”. Simply a stellar piece. There have also been a few killer remixes by the likes of Moulinex, Midnight Juggernauts and Boys Noize. Check these out.

Someone that I haven’t heard much from since his Steak soundtrack work with Sebastien Tellier, Mr. Oizo popped up on the latest Ed Banger compilation, with “Minuteman’s Pulse” and since then, has been thrown around all over the blogosphere. He ain’t coming to the US this summer, as far as I can tell, which is a bummer since he couldn’t make his last appearance in the Chi what seems like forever ago. I’m still waiting for that rescheduling.. I’m starting to feel like it’s futile… lol. Probably not happening! I’ll tell you what though, if you’ve heard the Jamie Lidell (@ Abbey Pub, June 4th) remix, like I have, then you’ll probably be as disappointed as I am. Who else makes cuts like Oizo does?
