[redthreat] Awards ‘07: Best of the Rest: Singles & Remixes
Despite what the news may have been telling you, ‘07 has been an exciting year. So much great music to distract you from what other people deem as important. So much so, that this has all been quite the agonizing process. But below I’ve listed all of the singles and remixes that demand their recognition. This will be the second & last of my year-end summations of greatness.
If you feel that I’ve missed something important, don’t hesitate to comment and set me straight. No worries. I left some tracks out because of the best albums post- obviously the list would be different had I not taken that into account. Also, there are always different songs for different times, and you also may notice that most of these tracks are electronic & that most of the songs are reposts. That is because I post what I like, not what people tell me to post. Call me crazy, that’s just what I do.

Comment by Dan January 13, 2008 @ 2:26 pmthe number one (crystal castles) may have been released in the last week or two of ‘06, but didn’t really surface until january of ‘07. and it’s a damn good song, so i don’t feel bad posting it up there. the tepr/data remix is almost certainly from the middle of ‘07- either may, june or july. not quite sure. as far as the phones remix goes, yeah, sorry. but god damn that’s a good song and i certainly enjoyed it all throughout ‘07 (probably why i thought it was more recent). we’re all human here, right?
