After a long week of drinking and eating and all sorts of debauchery and blacking out, let’s start this bad boy off with a track that fractures skulls at high volumes. Adam Sky absolutely annihilates this one. The chorus brass lines are so well placed, and come out of nowhere only to make perfect sense once you piece it all together.

Riot In Belgium – La Musique (Adam Sky Remix)
Now lets chill it out with one of my favorite Metronomy tracks. Simple yet effective. Drive in traffic to this one, smoke an L at the trainstation standing in the rain. Some ‘Garden State’ shit, reflective and enchanting. Can you dig it?
Metronomy – This Could Be Beautiful
I haven’t been feeling Calvin Harris as of lately. The first few novelty songs were great, no doubt. Every time I listen to “When I Go To Vegas” I see a slideshow montage of all of the evil things I have done there and it makes me feel great. Sure. But where the originals get a little predictable, other producers showcase their potential. It took the Deadmau5 edit for me to post this, and with Kissy Sell Out & Mr. Oizo- 3’s a charm.

Time for some more Yukesk. This guy consistently raises the bar, and my well be my favorite french producer out of all of them. And that’s saying a lot. Here’s an original track of Plugs to go with it.
Plugs – That Number (Yuksek Remix)
And another Flux remix. And even though I’m a big Bloc Party fan- I don’t even really like the song that much now that it’s been played to death. To death. But Metal on Metal always has a place here at redthreat.
Bloc Party – Flux (Metal On Metal Remix)
I dug up this Telepop track the other day and it threw me back a few summers. The Ultra Tiger remix puts a nice modern touch on a classic without totally ruining and/or changing the original song and vibe. I’ll be posting more of their tunes as soon as I get my hands on some. So stay tuned.
