THANKS.Here’s a little more about the project

“Webbafied Does it Justice” is Electro/Hip Hop Fusion at its finest. Webb displays his innovative songwriting abilities, giving his own interpretation of each title from Justice’s “Cross” album. Since Danger Mouse’s “The Grey Album” took musical interpolations to the next level, artists like WebbaFied have followed suit and created masterpieces of their own. With cutting edge delivery, creative concepts and catchy choruses “WebbaFied Does it Justice” has already been tagged a cult classic by music industry insiders and fans alike.

Alright,
I’m 16, from the UK.
Like the blog, been reading through since autumn/fall last year. Picked up loads of decent songs for a party I DJ’ed, thanks.

This video is to go with a quick tune I made, check it out and comment your thoughts… http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=r2i3NnHE_QQ

Also I’m in a band called The Mirror Kissers…
http://www.myspace.com/themirrorkissers
It’s a bit of a guitar techno thing. We have a few live videos up which best show our sound, and some rough rehearsal recordings. Hopefully we’ll have a decent recording soon.
We don’t get a lot of feedback where we’re from (rural county Herefordshire, UK), we’re quite young and no one really sounds similar to us there, so listen and message/comment if you want.
Thanks.

Jake

The Image Front’s Debut EP is officially out on itunes, Amazon, emusic, and rhapsody.

The Image Front was formed out of the debris of the DJ Crew Iconoclast Chicago. The band was spawned by the first single, “Do Sex, Have Drugs”, that was inspired by the true story of Mr. Automatic, Joe Vortech, and Onefiftyone having their DJ gig at Chicago’s Subterranean canceled in an untimely fashion. Taking a cue from The Prodigy (and The Real McCoy), they set out to create ridiculously fun dance music that would also serve as an outlet for their angst towards 21st century nightlife. The rest of the EP is a journey through the warped record collections of Vortech and Automatic, ranging from epic progressive metal/breakbeat hardcore rave to new beat madness to the classic eurodance tribute “Beat of the Night” (feat. Sid Maudlin). If you’re sick of stale electro, patterned designer shirts that look like grandma’s wallpaper, and unicorns, then you NEED The Image Front.

You can download The Image Front’s most epic track, “Worshipping’s Not Necessary, It’s Required” from the following link:

http://www.mediafire.com/?tjqsdhsu9rz

Also, if you haven’t heard it yet, here’s the new Image Front Smash and Crunch remix of Houston Bernard. Get ready to dance like it’s 1992 and you just bought Zoo Rave 1.

http://www.mediafire.com/?nxsjxy9wnct

Review of Smash and Crunch performance with Drop the Lime/Curses!:

“The Image Front is a band consisting of three moonlighting DJs and a metal fucking guitar shredder. Their set at SmashandCrunch’s Liars Club party last week started with the closest thing they were going to give to a ballad. A song that seemed to fit right in the space between Cheap Trick and Giorgio Moroder (which I’m guessing equals a ELO). After that, they became something that could only be described as aggro juke. With frontman Joe Vor-Tech growling, wtithing, and chanting things like “ho’s don’t know” over and over, the rest of the band was free to add flourishes of sirens, whistles and cowbelles like a live mashup of Rammstein and DJ Assault.”- Omaphagy

Show this coming Tuesday, April 29th at Deboniar Social Club
