Hip-Hop icon 9th Wonder is making an appearance over at Sonotheque tonite in a much anticipated visit. At least by my friends, a solid majority of them go bananas over his work.
This cat has recorded with some of the most stellar entertainers of the genre, mixing and remixing works that have been hailed internationally. I’m talking about Murs, Mos Def, De La Soul, and even more recently, big names like The Game. Wow. Little Brother, one of his premier projects and groups, is probably my favorite era of his work. But, his Jay-Z “Black Album” remixes are amazing, too. Christ, the guy’s even won a Grammy. What more needs to be said?
