Finally. After waiting months and months to see these guys while they were parading through Europe, patience has paid off. The Klaxons are set to arrive in Chicago on Saturday night, and play their enchanting music at The Vic -and I am effin’ excited!!!!

Not a moment too soon, either, The Klaxons recently won the Mercury Prize which they were nominated for earlier this summer. They even beat out Amy Winehouse!! Rightfully so. “Myths of the Near Future” is the whole package, rarely do you see a release that stretches the boundaries of conventional rock and electronic music from such angles. Mystical, mysterious, apocalyptic. That’s without mentioning that there’s an army of DJs that have remixed, rerubbed and reworked every one of the songs on the album to near perfection within all scope of imagination.
