Blende, another UK remix demigod (the man responsible for one of my favorite Klaxons reworks of “It’s Not Over Yet”) deserves mention. Every time I post a track of his, it’s dug up by search engines long after it’s on the front page. And though he isn’t touring anywhere around Chicago, or North America for that matter, he’s lighting up the blogosphere like a lite-brite. Blende rocks an electro vibe that isn’t overpowering or nerve racking. Sometimes choppy and with static, but never disorienting, helping his sound fall into a nice clean durrrr that would keep any head bouncing and floor dancing. Big thanks to Phase02 for the Seduction track, which is featured on the “Clubweapons EP” on Juno.
